2018 Advertising Opportunities


Mobile App Banner Advertisement: $500 (7 available)

  • 1 banner ad within the PMA Conference mobile app
  • A link from your banner ad to the webpage of your choice


Mobile App Push Notifications: $100 (5 available)

  • 1 push notification sent to all attendees via the mobile app during the conference (140 character limit, one per company)


Tote Bag Inserts (800-1000 bags): $200 or $400

  • One product (item sample, food, personal hygiene, or fitness-related product) $200
  • One piece of literature/brochure $400

Sleeping Room Item Drop: $1600 to $2200

  • Sleeping room item drop on high night of conference (Friday, October 26, 2018, approximately 350 rooms) Advertiser may select what item they would like to distribute e.g. a letter, chocolate bar, or other small gift. Pricing depends on product type and placement within room. Product to be supplied by advertiser.

Workbook Ad Specifications:

Ad deadline is Monday, August 15, 2018 Publication trim size: 8.500”w x 11.000”h

Ad sizes: Cover Advertisement Positions: Inside front cover, inside back cover and the outside back cover will be full 8.500”w x 11.000”h and bleeds will be allowed. If your ad is to bleed off the page, the artwork must extend at least 1/8” (.125”) beyond the 8.500”w x 11.000”h size.

Text Page Advertisement positions:

  • Full page ads (B/W or color) are to be 7.500”w x 10.000”h and are not to include page bleeds. If your ad bleeds, we will resize your ad to meet our specs.
  • Half (1/2) page ads (B/W or color) are to be 1⁄2 page horizontal or 7.5”w x 4.875”H. No bleeds.
  • Quarter (1/4) page ads (B/W or color) are to be 1/4 page vertical or 3.75”w x 4.875”H. No bleeds.

Submission: The preferred method for receiving files is in high resolution PDF (PDF/X-1a) format. PDF files must have all fonts embedded into the PDF file as an “Embedded Subset”. No file security is to be set on any files. Native files including Adobe Illustrator or InDesign can also be accepted. When submitting these file types use the “collect for output” feature that will assist you in organizing all the content that supports your ad.

Fonts: All fonts should be included with the files.

Colors: The colors must be set as 4 colors (CYMK) as this is how the ads will be printed. Do not submit color graphics in RGB mode. Red-Green-Blue mode is designed for laser printers or the internet.

Resolution: We suggest you use .eps, tif or .jpg high resolution graphics. Color and greyscale scans should be at least 300 dots per inch. B/W Line Art scans should have a minimum of 600 dpi. The resizing of graphics can decrease the overall resolution, thus lowering the quality of output.
Tip: Graphics taken from web pages are almost always low resolution and do not reproduce well in print. Graphics created in programs like Adobe Illustrator can create scalable graphics that will reproduce with the best quality of any size.
