PMA Conference Protocol

This conference protocol is designed to help ensure a safe environment for all participants to share, learn and build friendships. We are committed to facilitating a welcoming and respectful conference for all. The PMA Conference Protocol shares our community expectations and applies to all attendees, employees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and other participants at the PMA Conference. We empower all PMA Conference participants to actively engage in creating a friendly and safe environment for all.


  1. All participants, including participants’ guests, must be registered for the conference and wear their official name badges.
  2. No person may impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent their affiliation with a person or entity.
  3. No person may defame, abuse, harass, harm or threaten others, make any bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive statements.
  4. No person may damage private or communal property.
  5. All participants must obey the rules and regulations of the venue.

Anti-Harassment Policy

It is of the utmost importance that the PMA ensures a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of community members, staff, attendees or speakers in any form.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, and/or religion
  • Sexual images in public spaces
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following¬†
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome sexual attention

We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not comply with the proper registration, security procedures or requirements of attendee protocol outlined above at any point during an event without a refund.
