Teresa Maldonado Marchok, MPT, PMA®-CPT is a licensed physical therapist, Pilates expert and lecturer at Stanford University School of Medicine’s Health Improvement Program and guest advanced education faculty member for Body Arts and Science International (BASI). Her Pilates journey began with first generation teacher, Robert Fitzgerald, and deepened as a graduate of both Polestar Pilates and BASI Pilates. Founder of her private studio, Pilates with Teresa LLC in California, she also serves the community as an ambassador for American Bone Health. She just released her 3rd DVD in her award winning BoneSmart Pilates® series which targets effective and safe exercise for the active ager. Teresa’s integrated approach is a culmination of over 30 years experience with Pilates, physical therapy and touring worldwide as a soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company.
