James D’Silva, PMA®-CPT, enjoyed a career as a professional dancer, performing, choreographing and teaching all over Europe and the USA. Throughout his career James has used Pilates, Yoga, GYROTONIC® and functional training as an integral part of his training routine fusing the different methods into a unique holistic and integrated style of movement and exercise that he’s named – Garuda. His philosophy is focused on breath, rhythm and flow – finding the sacred principle of relaxation in movement, thus allowing everyone to find mindfulness and joy in exercise and expression. The resulting exercise regime is unique, strengthening, toning. It develops coordination, increases flexibility and improves structural fitness.
