Cari Riis Stemmler, PMA®-CPT, has been teaching Pilates since 1997, and educating Pilates teachers since 2001. She received her original training through the Physical Mind Institute. Cari has an extensive background in Pilates, dance, movement & rehabilitative science, anatomy and yoga. She danced professionally for 21 years, and her concentrated genres were Horton-based modern dance, contemporary ballet & jazz. Cari was the Education Chair for MN Dance Medicine for 7 years. She is a master teacher for Balanced Body and owns Paragon Pilates & Physical Therapy. She holds a B.A. Degree in Cross-cultural Communication, and is a casual student of neuroscience.
