Proximal Control for Better Knee Function

Research suggests that impaired strength and motor control at the hip can have a deleterious effect on movement at the knee. In this course, we will examine common anatomical variations of the knee (hyperextension, “knock knees,” “bow legs”), and we will learn Pilates protocols for addressing these variations working from the hip down. Our emphasis will be on the use of the Wunda Chair in promoting mobility and stability in the lower extremity.
